Senior PDP leader joins BJP

Dr. Ramazan Hussain who had also contested the assembly elections earlier from Bani Constituency, was welcomed into the party fold by J&K BJP president Ravinder Raina at the party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

Senior PDP leader Dr. Ramazan Hussain quit PDP and joined the BJP along with his supporters, stressing that the people of Jammu & Kashmir are very optimistic about the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Joining was facilitated by Rubeena Akhter, Mahila Morcha leader of BJP.

Dr. Ramazan Hussain said that the people of J&K are ready to sacrifice themselves to protect the “Tiranga” and do not support anybody whosoever tries to defame the Nation and the National Flag. He said that now he is of firm view that he has come to the right place and his real party and that he can do the real service of the humanity and the region as well as his people through the platform he has got in BJP. He also thanked the party leaders who supported him and welcomed him into the party fold especially the J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina and said that the J&K is on the right track towards the peace and development.

Hailing Dr. Ramazan Hussain’s decision, Raina said that Dr. Ramadan has come to the right place now and asked him to serve the party and the Nation with full vigour and also assured him the full support of party in his public welfare endeavours. He said that PDP has insulted the Nation and this has forced senior PDP leaders to quit that party and said that the leader like Dr. Ramazan will not feel suffocated here like PDP, but instead he will feel rejuvenated to serve the Nation with more dedication.
